Anna Mayo is an award-winning actor, director, producer, and writer, with a professional cheerleading and classical singing background. With hundreds of credits across film, television, commercial, and digital media, Anna is recognized as one of the most versatile creatives working today.
On screen, Anna’s performance in “Even Monsters Sleep” earned her the Best Actress award at the Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival. Their recent credits, including Jon Mitchell’s "The Sapling” and Jamal Hodge’s “Take It to the Grave,” are currently making the rounds on the festival circuit. Upcoming credits include lead roles in “Holy Roller" (Another Age and Propp Shop Productions) and “Becoming Buffalo" (Montana Cypress).
Anna’s body of work spans award-winning features, shorts, and series, alongside commercial campaigns for major brands such as Dunkin’ Donuts, French Pharmacy Rx, Ring Pop, and Sobo & Sobo Insurance.
On the production side, Anna has worked on sets for Disney, Canon, Mike and Ike, and ABC News, and interviews with thought leaders like Deepak Chopra. Recently, she co-produced and co-directed “Devils,” a 20x award-winning breakout film praised for “shaping indie cinema with raw emotion and vision” (FilmmakerLife), and earning her Awards of Merit for Directing and Script Writing (INDIEfest) and an Honorable Mention for Best Directing (Athens International Monthly Arts Film Festival).
As a musician, Anna Mayo has performed for diverse audiences ranging from the Duke of Austria to the incarcerated on death row. She made her international principal debut as Scarlett O’Hara in the "Gone with the Wind" China Tour, and has appeared on stages like the Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New Jersey Symphony, Argentinian General Consulate, Nashville Opera Association, and the Mostly Mozart Festival. They have also toured internationally with various ensembles across Italy, Austria, and the United States, and is currently in her 7th season with the Manhattan Holiday Carolers.
Next, Anna is executive producing “The Art of Connection” by Jon Esquivel and “Inferno” by Jon Mitchell. Passionate about normalizing diverse voices and relationships on screen, they continue to develop projects that “invite audiences into both wonder and truth” (Filmmakerlife).
